課程大綱

課程簡介

資訊素養是健康科學相關科系學生必備的知識技能之一，而善用各種資訊資源更是其中最重要的一環。本課程以上課、上機展示(demo)、作業的方式，使學生熟悉各式健康科學領域之實體與數位資源，進而學習檢索、取得、評鑑、與利用該類資源之技巧。討論到的議題包括：國內外重要的健康科學圖書館、NLM類表與MeSH主題標目、相關資料庫、電子期刊、電子書、網際網路、實證醫學(EBM)等資源的使用與評選，並探討學術傳播、數位圖書館等趨勢對健康科學資訊資源的影響。

英文簡介

Information literacy is a necessary skill for health science students, and the ability to utilize related information resources is the most important part of it. The instructor will apply methods of lecture, online demonstration, and assignments,　helping students become a skilled user of health science information resources and services. Topics such as introduction of important medical libraries, databases, e-journals, e-books, Internet resources, EBM, scholarly communication, and digital libraries will be discussed.
