The TMUL contains
a variety of collections:
print, electronic
resources, DVDs, LD, VHS tapes, and CD-ROMs.
These materials
are housed on the 2nd to the 4th floor of
the TMU United Medical Building.
All the
western health science materials are found in open stacks
arranged according to the National Library of Medicine
classification system (NLM), while other western non-health
science materials are arranged according to the Library of
Congress Classification system (LC), and
New Classification Scheme for Chinese
Libraries (CCL) for Chinese and Japanese book collection.
All the
collections are available to all users to the library.
You can locate
TMUL
collections
by using Electronic Library Information System (ELIS), the
TMUL¡¦s online catalog as well.
The Library's
collections increased every year. Due to the coming of the
electronic era, e-resources play a significant role in the TMUL.
We try to subscribe only the e-journals when it is possible.
Now, we are subscribing about 7800 titles of e-journals, and all
of the electronic resources
could be accessed by the Electronic
Resources Management (ERM) system from the web page of our
library.
