Effective August 13, 2026, Turnitin changed how course enrollment is managed on its platform. Previously, instructors created an Enrollment Key and shared it with students. Under the new system, Enrollment Keys are generated automatically by Turnitin and are valid only for a limited time.

In response to this update, the TMU Library has also changed the enrollment process for the Turnitin courses it provides each academic year.

🔄 New Enrollment Process for Library Turnitin Courses

Previous process
The Library provided a Class ID and Enrollment Key through the E-Resources System. Users could retrieve this information and enroll in the course on their own.

New process
Whether or not you already have a Turnitin student account, you must submit the Student Account/Course Enrollment Request Form to join a Turnitin course provided by the Library. Library staff will enroll you in the course for the current academic year.

📌 Important Notes

1. Requests submitted with an email address not affiliated with TMU or the affiliated hospitals will not be processed.

2. Current TMU students & faculty only.

3. If you need to join a Turnitin course created by an instructor in your department or program, please contact the instructor directly for enrollment instructions. The Library is unable to provide enrollment information or enroll students in instructor-managed courses.
