Who can recommend e-resources?

All current TMU and affiliated hospital faculty, staff and students.

• Application Process

  1. Download and fill out the recommendation form.  
  2. Print out the form and the director has to sign off on it.
  3. Return the signed file to the Information Desk on the Xinyi or Shuangho campus.
  4. The library offers trials of databases to allow students and staff the opportunity to assess their content and platform usability.
  5. The library committee reviews campus feedback, pricing, curriculum relevancy, and other selection criteria.

  Please Note

  • Recommendation form must be printed out and signed.
  • Subscription suggestions for databases and e-books are evaluated by considering eligibility to the collection and budget.
  • All suggestions are taken into consideration by the Library at the end of the year, but the Library cannot guarantee that all suggested material will be acquired.
  • A trial allows the library to evaluate the database and gather valuable feedback from the users in order to make an informed purchasing decision.
  • All new databases are selected by a library committee which reviews campus feedback, pricing, curriculum relevancy, and other selection criteria.
