🟠 Self-checkout machine

Location: Xinyi Campus. In the lobby near the Information Desk

• Library users can use the Self-Check machine to check out materials for themselves. To use the machine, you must have a valid TMU ID Card or TMU Library Card.
  
  
• Certain items cannot be checked out at the machine, including
  • Items requested by another user
  • Reference books, such as encyclopedias and dictionaries
  • All journals and magazines
  • Audiovisual materials
    
    
• If you need assistance, select the "Instructions" button on the screen or ask the staff at the Information Desk.

🟠 Self-return machine

Location: Xinyi Campus. Right side of the library gate

• The self-return machine is available 24 hours a day, even when the library is closed.
  
  
• You may use the self-return machine with the assistance of on-screen instructions. It is simple to operate the touchscreen interface.
  
  
• Please do not use the self-return machine to return the following items to prevent any issues. Return these things to the Information Desk instead: 
  • Audiovisual materials  
  • Oversized books  
  • Special items
    
    
• If you have difficulty using the machine, please contact the Information Desk for assistance.
