About Instruction

For Students

• Consult in person
  TMU students can make an appointment with the reference librarians via email. We can introduce the usage of specific database or writing tool briefly at the Reference Desk.
  
  
• Small-group instruction
  TMU students may schedule a library instruction session by appointment. Small-group instruction is especially beneficial when a group of interested students wants to learn to use a specific database or wishes to learn about a specific area of the library.
  
  
• Online database tutorials
  We recorded several courses (such as EndNote, Turnitin) in English and upload to My2TMU. 
  
  
• Regular database training course 
  We arrange several basic training courses each semester. Invite the instructors to share the experience about using specific database.

• Library tour
  The Library Tour is an independent activity that helps you become familiar with the Library’s space, services and resources.
